I joined 6WR in 2002 after 46 years in commercial radio sales & management. In 1998 I sailed my 12-metre yacht "Spirit of Australia" from America to Australia and then later on to Europe. An accomplished aviator, my other interests include photography and 4-wheel driving the spectacular Kimberley region.

After 12 fantastic years as owner of Kununurra Backpackers, I decided it was time to move on and have become a 6WR presenter. I'm loving it with a passion! Needless to say, for a happy and cheerful person, I see the funny side of life as often as I can.

I love the East Kimberley; the Wet Season in particular when I get behind the 6WR microphone. My experience is wide & varied: The Kimberley Echo's editor, Bungles tour guide, 'rent-a-gob' at shows & functions, auctioneering, & travelling Australia with circuses.
